Sr. Appraiser and Owner, Elsie Arredondo is an accredited member with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
As an ISA member, Ms. Arredondo's appraisals conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and to the Ethical Standards and Report Writing Standards of the International Society of Appraisers. Ms. Arredondo became an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) in 2018. In order to reach this status, you must have a resume showing a min of three years of market-related experience in chosen specialty, four-character references, complete core course in appraisal studies, complete course in National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and pass two competency exams. Re-qualification, which ISA requires every five years, assures up-to-date familiarity with the latest changes in the law and ongoing professional development training.
In addition, as an Accredited Member of ISA she has achieved the designation of “qualified appraiser” as defined by the Appraisers Qualification Board of the Appraisal Foundation in her declared specialty in Fine Art and has demonstrated significant, appraisal-related experience in that specialty.
Ms. Arredondo has over eight years of market-related experience in her chosen specialty of mid-century and contemporary art from 1950 to present including; paintings, sculptures, sketches and prints. She is also a member of the Association Society of Appraisers (ASA) and the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD). Ms. Arredondo has been a respected member of the San Diego art community since 2012 beginning her art career with Monarch Fine Art Gallery in La Jolla, California.
